A Service of Thanksgiving for the Life of Professor John Beverley Knight (12 January 1939 – 17 January 2024) will be held in the Chapel of St Edmund Hall on Saturday, 26 October 2024, at 2pm. Many of John’s former students and research associates across the world are travelling to attend the Memorial Service, for remembering his career and legacy in the study of both African and Chinese economies. John will be greatly missed by so many in Oxford and beyond.
